Editorial

I am very grateful to Alan Drysdall for his contribution on a follow up to my article in our previous Edition; Apart from me, Alan is the only Individual who has put pen to paper in this publication.
An article on the Federation’s first definitives has been long overdue; some of you may have seen an article in the December 2006 GSM by one Nick Halewood, unfortunately this is a flawed account full of errors and omissions and the Author in my humble opinion is not conversant with his subject.
I did submit a ‘Letter to the Editor’ with some constructive criticism, but it was not taken up.
I have recently revamped the Southern Rhodesian section on our website and I have added a new Information section entitled ‘Aspects of Collecting Southern Rhodesia’; it is a time consuming exercise so it is as yet not finished, but those of you with an interest in that Territory may enjoy viewing it.
